Full Stack Cloud Engineer

Job Description & Details

This is a hands-on full-stack engineering role where you will be building and scaling distributed systems from the UI down to cloud infrastructure. If you enjoy jumping between Angular frontends and Java/Spring Boot microservices while managing your own AWS deployment pipelines, this gig gives you plenty of technical autonomy.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

You'll spend your days architecting RESTful APIs, wiring up event-driven communication using SQS and EventBridge, and keeping an eye on serverless workloads running in AWS Lambda and ECS. On the frontend side, you'll craft responsive interfaces in Angular while ensuring everything talks smoothly to your backend services. A typical week involves debugging performance bottlenecks with Dynatrace, refining CI/CD automation with GitHub Actions or Jenkins, and collaborating closely with product teams to ship clean code.

The Core Tech Stack

You need absolute fluency in Java, Spring Boot, and Angular to survive here, alongside solid Python skills for scripting and automation. On the cloud side, AWS is non-negotiable—you'll need practical depth in DynamoDB, API Gateway, VPC configurations, and ECS. Experience with event-driven messaging patterns is critical since the entire architecture relies on asynchronous processing to scale cleanly.

Interview Expectations

Expect the hiring team to grill you on how you handle distributed transaction management and eventual consistency across an event-driven AWS architecture using tools like SQS and EventBridge. They want to see if you actually understand how to debug network latency and IAM permission issues inside a tightly locked-down VPC, rather than just knowing textbook definitions. Be prepared to whiteboard a resilient microservices layout and defend your choices around state management in Angular versus backend caching.

Application Advice

Your resume needs to heavily spotlight your production experience with Spring Boot microservices and AWS cloud infrastructure to get past the initial ATS screen. Make sure to explicitly mention specific AWS services like Lambda, DynamoDB, and ECS alongside your Angular accomplishments, rather than just listing generic full-stack buzzwords. If you have any background with Adobe tools, Ionic, or AI-driven developer tooling like GitHub Copilot, weave those in as bonus points since the team explicitly values them.
