Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud Talent and Compensation Lead

Tidal Impact

Job Description & Details

This is a heavy-duty implementation gig for someone who lives and breathes Oracle Fusion HCM. You will be owning the entire talent and compensation architecture, meaning you need to know the platform's quirks inside and out rather than just knowing how to click around the UI.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

Expect to spend your days knee-deep in design sessions with HR stakeholders who know what they want in theory, but need you to figure out how to make it actually work in Fusion. You'll be configuring performance management cycles, goal frameworks, talent pools, succession plans, and complex workforce compensation plans. A big part of the friction here is ensuring your talent modules actually talk cleanly to Core HR without breaking assignment and organization data down the line.

The Core Tech Stack

Your bread and butter here is hands-on Oracle Fusion HCM Talent Management Cloud and Workforce Compensation. You must have deep, practical expertise in Performance Management, Goal Management, Talent Review, and Succession Planning. The team needs someone who understands eligibility profiles, plan cycles, budgets, and how to configure career development processes that survive real-world corporate usage.

Interview Expectations

Be ready for the hiring manager to throw a messy scenario at you regarding complex compensation plan cycles overlapping with annual talent reviews, asking how you handle budget allocations and eligibility overrides without breaking the system. They want to see that you've been in the trenches of a failed or difficult implementation before and know how to troubleshoot downstream data alignment issues between Core HR and Talent modules.

Application Advice

Your resume needs to skip the generic HR buzzwords and explicitly highlight full lifecycle implementations you've led for Oracle Fusion Talent and Compensation. Make sure to drop exact module names like Goal Management, Talent Pools, and Workforce Compensation right into your bullet points so the ATS flags you immediately as a specialized implementation lead rather than a generalist HRIS admin.
