Job Description & Details
This is a heavy-duty organizational change management role embedded in a massive automotive transformation program at Infosys. You are walking into a complex stakeholder environment involving dealers, field teams, and implementation partners where getting people to actually use the new system is the ultimate hurdle. If you know the automotive supply chain and dealer ecosystem inside and out, this contract lets you own the strategy and drive real adoption.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
You will spend your days bridging the gap between rigid IT deliverables and human reality. Your primary mission is to synchronize the entire OCM strategy across disparate groups like Field DSPMs, independent dealers, and tech partners. Expect to run constant change impact assessments, figure out who is going to push back on the new workflows, and build out mitigation plans before pilot rollouts hit a wall. You will also manage leadership reporting and prep everyone involved so go-live doesn't turn into a fire drill.
The Core Tech Stack
While there isn't a traditional coding stack here, your technical toolkit consists of proven OCM methodologies, stakeholder engagement frameworks, and deep automotive parts supply chain and dealer domain expertise. You absolutely must understand how automotive dealerships operate and how supply chain shifts impact their day-to-day survival. If you have structured OCM certifications and hands-on experience dealing with OEM ecosystems, you will speak the exact language this program leadership needs.
Interview Expectations
Since this is an onsite, face-to-face independent contractor role with high stakes, expect the interviewers to drill down into a real-world scenario where a dealer network outright refused to adopt a new system. They want to hear how you handled the pushback, diagnosed the root cause of the resistance, and salvaged the deployment timeline without alienating key stakeholders. Another heavy focus will be on your methodology for measuring readiness—they are secretly looking to see if you rely on gut feelings or hard metrics to sign off on a go-live.
Application Advice
Skip the generic project management fluff and make sure your resume screams automotive dealer domain expertise and supply chain transformations. You need to explicitly weave keywords like Organizational Change Management, Stakeholder Engagement, Adoption Management, and Dealer Ecosystem into your past experience bullets to clear the ATS. Highlight specific programs where you led training, deployment, and readiness assessments for large-scale enterprise rollouts.
