IT Delivery Manager

Not Disclosed

Job Description & Details

This is a hands-on technical delivery role where you will be orchestrating enterprise application development and modernization initiatives inside the healthcare space. If you enjoy wrangling complex system integrations, steering distributed dev teams, and keeping compliance-heavy projects on track without drowning in corporate bureaucracy, this gig is worth a serious look.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

Expect to juggle multiple concurrent software initiatives from requirements all the way to production deployment. You'll spend your days working closely with architects and engineers to remove roadblocks, coordinating releases, managing budgets, and running Agile ceremonies. The real challenge here is balancing strict healthcare privacy regulations like HIPAA with the speed and flexibility required for modern cloud and API integrations.

The Core Tech Stack

You need a solid foundation in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and modern delivery management tools like Jira and Azure DevOps. While you won't be writing production code daily, you must understand enterprise technologies like Java, .NET, Python, cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), and healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 and FHIR to effectively communicate with your engineering teams.

Interview Expectations

They are going to ask you how you handle a scenario where a critical release is blocked by an architectural disagreement right before a hard compliance deadline. The hiring manager is looking to see if you have the technical judgment to mediate without alienating the engineers. They'll also probe your experience with offshore resource management and how you accurately track velocity and defect rates when dealing with hybrid teams.

Application Advice

Make sure your resume leans heavily into your enterprise software delivery background and explicitly mentions frameworks like Scrum, SAFe, or hybrid methodologies. If you have healthcare tech experience—such as claims processing or clinical apps—put that right at the top. Weave in keywords like API integrations, cloud migration, and stakeholder management naturally to breeze through the automated ATS filters.
