Odessa (LeaseWave) Platform Specialist

Ztek Consulting Inc

Job Description & Details

This is a heavy-duty platform specialist role centered entirely around configuring, supporting, and troubleshooting the Odessa LeaseWave platform for auto or commercial finance. If you know your way around lease lifecycles, billing anomalies, and backend integrations, this gig sits right at the intersection of enterprise software support and complex financial domain logic.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

You will spend your days acting as the primary technical point of contact for everything LeaseWave—handling everything from origination and billing modules to end-of-term processing and GL accounting postings. Expect to troubleshoot gnarly production issues, manage data migrations, oversee batch processing jobs, and work closely with distributed onshore/offshore teams. It's a fast-paced AMS environment where you will constantly translate business needs into concrete platform configurations.

The Core Tech Stack

You need deep, hands-on experience with the Odessa LeaseWave platform, specifically across modules like Contracts, Billing, and Assets. Beyond the platform itself, solid SQL query writing is non-negotiable for data investigation, alongside a firm grasp of REST and SOAP APIs for integration troubleshooting. Familiarity with relational databases like SQL Server or Oracle and exposure to Odessa Studio or Designer will heavily dictate your day-to-day success here.

Interview Expectations

Expect the hiring team to test your deep platform knowledge by throwing a real-world scenario at you, such as a broken billing cycle or a failed GL accounting posting, asking you to trace the issue using SQL and the LeaseWave data model. They are secretly looking to see if you can methodically isolate whether a glitch stems from a configuration error, a bad API payload, or a database anomaly without panicking under pressure.

Application Advice

To get past the ATS, make sure your resume explicitly highlights your hands-on LeaseWave implementation or support history alongside your exact years of experience. Weave keywords like LeaseWave configuration, SQL data investigation, API troubleshooting, and financial modules directly into your work experience bullets rather than listing them in a generic skills dump.
