Job Description & Details
This is a heavy-duty full-stack role building mission-critical internal platforms for managing financial indices. You'll be knee-deep in complex workflows, exception handling, and regulatory audit trails where data accuracy is non-negotiable.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
You'll spend your days building and evolving user-facing applications that operational teams use to configure and govern financial index data. Expect to wrestle with data-heavy interfaces, approval workflows, and backend service integrations. You'll also be modernizing legacy Angular codebases into clean React implementations while keeping the lights on for regulated financial operations.
The Core Tech Stack
You need deep hands-on chops in React for greenfield work, alongside Angular for maintaining legacy modules. On the backend, it's strictly Java and Spring Boot, coupled with cloud-native delivery patterns and event-driven messaging like Kafka or SQS. Plus, this is an AI-first shop: they expect you to use LLMs and agentic coding tools to speed up prototyping and testing, while you maintain strict validation and security guardrails.
Interview Expectations
Expect the hiring team to grill you on how you handle state management and performance tuning in large enterprise React applications alongside legacy Angular components. They'll also likely present a tricky distributed systems problem involving Java and Spring Boot to see how you design reliable, auditable APIs and handle asynchronous messaging safely.
Application Advice
Your resume needs to loudly and clearly showcase your full-stack capability with both React/Angular on the frontend and Java/Spring Boot on the backend. Make sure to explicitly highlight your experience with event-driven architectures, cloud platforms like AWS, and concrete examples of how you use AI-assisted tools to ship code faster without sacrificing security.
