Senior Healthcare Solutions Architect - Security & Compliance

Not Disclosed

Job Description & Details

This is a heavy-hitting architecture role where you will design secure, multi-tenant enterprise systems for the US healthcare and PBM space. If you are tired of building generic SaaS apps and want to tackle complex HIPAA compliance boundaries and data segregation, this gig gives you the architectural ownership to do it right.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

Expect to spend your days drawing up end-to-end technical blueprints, arguing passionately for proper data isolation in multi-tenant cloud environments, and making sure security boundaries are ironclad. You will act as the bridge between paranoid security teams, rigid compliance officers, and fast-moving dev squads. A distinct part of your week will also involve utilizing approved enterprise AI tools like GitHub Copilot to draft technical specs and accelerate design reviews without violating data privacy policies.

The Core Tech Stack

You need a deep command of enterprise cloud architecture, application security frameworks, and HIPAA Security Rule compliance. Experience with Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) transactional systems or government workloads is what separates a pass from a hire here. You must inherently understand how to draw system boundaries, enforce strict multi-tenant data segregation, and integrate secure data flows into legacy or modern cloud stacks.

Interview Expectations

Be prepared for a brutal system design deep-dive where they hand you a hypothetical multi-tenant healthcare data pipeline and ask you to sketch out the compliance boundaries and data isolation strategy on the spot. The hiring manager isn't just looking for a pretty diagram; they want to see how you handle edge cases where developer velocity clashes with federal security mandates. They will also test your pragmatism around utilizing GenAI tools for architectural documentation without exposing PHI.

Application Advice

Skip the generic architectural buzzwords and explicitly highlight your real-world experience with HIPAA compliance, PBM platforms, and multi-tenant data segregation right at the top of your resume. Use exact phrasing like 'HIPAA Security Rule,' 'System Boundaries,' and 'Cloud Optimization' so you clear the ATS filters. If you have successfully defended a compliance audit or isolated government client workloads in past projects, spell that out clearly to prove you are battle-tested.
