Senior Salesforce Business Analyst

Cynet Systems Inc.

Job Description & Details

This is a hands-on Senior Salesforce Business Analyst contract role embedded within the Operations Project Management Office in Springfield, MA. You will be the crucial bridge between complex operational business needs and the technical Salesforce implementation team.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

Your day-to-day will involve wrangling stakeholders across various business units, procurement, and external suppliers to pin down exact requirements for a large-scale Salesforce rollout. You will be writing functional specs, untangling gnarly legacy processes, mapping out workflows, and driving escalation resolutions when roadblocks hit. Expect to run requirements-gathering workshops, mentor junior analysts, and ensure that the end-to-end operational readiness is airtight before deployment.

The Core Tech Stack

You need a deep foundational understanding of Salesforce business and technical components, combined with rock-solid business analysis methodologies. Experience with impact analysis, process mapping, and translating ambiguous user requests into crisp, actionable functional and non-functional requirements is non-negotiable. Because you'll be interfacing with tech teams and enterprise suppliers, knowing how data flows through a modern CRM ecosystem is a must.

Interview Expectations

Expect the hiring manager to present a scenario where a key stakeholder group is pushing back on a new workflow automation within Salesforce. They want to see how you negotiate, influence, and drive consensus without alienating the business. Another classic question will test your ability to perform a complex gap analysis under a tight timeline—they are secretly looking to see if you can methodically weigh risk and articulate trade-offs clearly to non-technical leaders.

Application Advice

Skip the generic corporate summary on your resume and tailor your experience directly toward enterprise CRM implementations and stakeholder facilitation. Make sure keywords like 'requirements management planning', 'functional and non-functional requirements', 'business process models', and 'Salesforce' are front and center so you easily clear the initial ATS filters. Highlight any large-scale operational readiness projects you've driven from inception to delivery.
