Lead Full Stack Developer

Not Disclosed

Job Description & Details

This is a heavy-hitting Lead Full Stack role that expects you to own everything from the Angular frontend down to the Terraform-managed AWS infrastructure. If you enjoy wearing multiple hats and driving technical delivery without micro-management, this 32-week contract in Plano is worth a close look.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

You'll be splitting your time between hands-on feature development and technical leadership. Expect to architect and build reusable Angular micro-frontend modules, spin up serverless APIs using Node.js on AWS Lambda and AppSync GraphQL, and automate the underlying infrastructure using Terraform and Terragrunt. Beyond writing clean TypeScript, you'll be mentoring team members, defining SSO and observability frameworks, and unblocking the scrum team when complex architectural roadblocks pop up.

The Core Tech Stack

You need a deeply rooted background in Angular 4+ and modern TypeScript, alongside serverless AWS ecosystems. Specifically, mastery over RxJS, AppSync, Lambda, and S3 deployments is non-negotiable here because you'll be building enterprise-grade SPAs from scratch. Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform isn't just a nice-to-have; you'll be expected to write deployment scripts cleanly right out of the gate.

Interview Expectations

Be ready to answer deep architectural questions about Micro-Frontend communication patterns and state management complexities in Angular. The hiring manager is going to probe your real-world experience scaling AWS Lambda cold starts and designing efficient caching strategies with AppSync GraphQL. They want to see if you can balance pragmatic engineering decisions with enterprise scale under pressure.

Application Advice

Your resume needs to heavily emphasize your senior-level tenure, specifically highlighting where you led teams and architected full-stack solutions end-to-end. Make sure exact keywords like Node.js, TypeScript, Angular, AWS Lambda, AppSync, and Terraform/Terragrunt are explicitly featured in your project descriptions to sail past the automated ATS screening.
