Java Full Stack Developer

Job Description & Details

This is a solid hybrid full-stack role where you will be bridging the gap between Java backends and modern JavaScript frameworks. If you like owning features end-to-end—from crafting accessible UI components to ensuring the backend integration is rock solid—this position offers a great mix of both worlds without being siloed.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

You'll spend your days building and maintaining responsive, high-performance user interfaces using React or Vue while tightly coupling them with Java or Spring Boot services. Expect to handle state management complexities, optimize browser rendering, and work closely with backend engineers to design clean RESTful API contracts. You'll also be writing comprehensive unit tests and pushing code through CI/CD pipelines, meaning code quality and automated testing are non-negotiable here.

The Core Tech Stack

You need a strong foundation in Java and Spring Boot for the backend side, paired with at least 2 years of production-grade React or Vue.js experience on the frontend. TypeScript and modern ES6+ JavaScript are heavily preferred, along with deep familiarity with state management tools like Redux, Zustand, or Pinia. Don't sleep on your CSS game either; you'll need advanced styling chops in Sass, Tailwind, or Styled Components, plus a solid grasp of frontend build tools like Webpack and Vite.

Interview Expectations

Expect the hiring team to test both ends of your stack thoroughly. A common question you might face is how you manage state synchronization and race conditions when consuming asynchronous REST APIs in a heavy component-based architecture. The interviewer is secretly looking to see if you understand component lifecycles, memory leaks, and how to structure scalable state stores rather than just hacking together quick fixes. Another likely challenge will involve optimizing a lagging UI render tree or tracing a bottleneck back to a poorly optimized backend payload, which tests your real-world debugging instincts.

Application Advice

To get past the ATS for this role, ensure your resume explicitly highlights both sides of the coin by pairing your Java/Spring Boot accomplishments directly alongside your React or Vue achievements. Don't just list technologies; mention specific state management libraries you've used (like Redux or Zustand), your experience with testing frameworks like Jest or React Testing Library, and how you've collaborated with backend teams to shape API contracts in Agile environments.
