Job Description & Details
This is a hands-on Salesforce Programmer Analyst role focused on stabilizing and expanding a newly launched production application. If you enjoy jumping into existing codebases to squash stubborn defects while continuously rolling out new declarative and custom features, this gig will keep you on your toes.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
You will spend your days balancing feature development with defect remediation in a live environment. Expect to write clean Apex and LWC, build complex Flows following a configuration-first mindset, and manage your deployment pipelines using Copado. You'll also work heavily with Jira to track user stories and coordinate closely with the DevOps team to ensure your code hits production without breaking anything.
The Core Tech Stack
You need deep expertise in Salesforce Apex (classes and triggers), Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative tools like Flow Builder. Beyond standard development, having solid production experience with Copado for CI/CD and release management is an absolute non-negotiable here. They also want someone who can replace legacy Aura components and bring strong Service Cloud experience to the table.
Interview Expectations
Expect the hiring team to grill you on your Copado pipeline troubleshooting skills—they'll likely ask you to walk through a scenario where a deployment failed due to merge conflicts or missing dependencies in source control, wanting to see how you systematically debugged it. They'll also test your Apex and LWC architecture choices, specifically asking how you decide between a declarative Flow versus custom code to ensure you truly respect the configuration-first approach.
Application Advice
To get past the ATS for this role, make sure your resume explicitly highlights your hands-on years with Copado, LWC, and Apex, rather than just listing Salesforce as a general skill. Since this position requires working out of the office two days a week (Mondays and Thursdays), make sure to emphasize your collaboration skills and experience working in agile, Jira-driven team environments.
