Project Manager

Radiantze Inc.

Job Description & Details

This is a long-term contract role managing public sector initiatives where bureaucracy and strict compliance are just as important as shipping deliverables on time. If you know how to navigate government procurement, stakeholder red tape, and rigorous budget tracking without losing your mind, this gig will keep you busy and well-compensated.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

You'll spend your days wrangling cross-functional teams, updating RAID logs, and translating complex technical milestones into dashboards that government officials and department heads can digest. Expect to lead steering committee meetings, manage vendor contracts, and enforce strict scope discipline to make sure projects don't bloat beyond their allocated state or federal funding.

The Core Tech Stack

You need a deep command of Microsoft Project, Excel, and standard project tracking tools to build bulletproof schedules and budgets. More importantly, your actual stack includes Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies, paired with an active PMP certification and a proven track record of surviving government audits and compliance frameworks.

Interview Expectations

They are going to ask you how you've handled scope creep and severe stakeholder misalignment on past public sector projects, so be ready with a concrete example where you successfully negotiated change requests without blowing the timeline. The hiring manager is secretly looking for someone who can remain calm under extreme political and regulatory pressure while keeping engineering teams focused and productive.

Application Advice

Don't just list your PMP certification at the top and call it a day; your resume needs to explicitly highlight your years dealing with State, Federal, or County Government clients. Make sure to weave in exact keywords from the job description like 'RAID logs', 'budgeting', 'compliance', and 'vendor management' so your profile easily slips past the ATS filters.
