Job Description & Details
This is a heavy-hitting RPA and Intelligent Automation contract role embedded within a Claims AI and Automation team. You aren't just building basic screen scrapers here; you are integrating UiPath with Azure AI and Generative AI to completely overhaul healthcare insurance operations. If you enjoy building complex, enterprise-grade bots that interface with legacy mainframes, Salesforce, and modern cloud platforms, this 6-month gig is worth your time.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
Your day-to-day will involve translating dense business requirements into rock-solid Solution Design Documents (SDDs) and then actually writing the code to bring them to life. You will be architecting UiPath workflows that talk to Azure AI Foundry, managing GitHub repositories, and wrangling REST/SOAP APIs across messy enterprise environments like Citrix and legacy mainframes. Beyond writing code, they need someone who can lead development efforts, mentor junior engineers, and act as the technical bridge between business stakeholders and the core delivery team.
The Core Tech Stack
You need deep, battle-tested expertise in UiPath combined with Azure AI and Azure AI Foundry. This isn't a place to learn on the job; they expect you to walk in knowing how to build modular, maintainable automation frameworks. On top of that, you need at least four years of hard coding experience in Python, C#, or Java. Proficiency in handling complex SQL databases, API integrations, and object-oriented design principles is non-negotiable because your bots will be handling intricate healthcare transactions that cannot afford to fail.
Interview Expectations
Expect the technical interview to dig deep into your architectural choices with UiPath and Azure AI. They will likely ask you to explain a time when a complex, multi-system automation failed in production and how you handled exception handling, state management, and reusability. The hiring manager is secretly looking for proof that you can design for failure, ensuring your bots gracefully recover from Citrix timeouts or API latency without corrupting enterprise data. They also want to see how you mentor others, so be ready to discuss your leadership style.
Application Advice
To get past the ATS, make sure your resume explicitly highlights your hands-on experience combining UiPath with Azure cloud services, specifically calling out keywords like Azure AI Foundry, SDD creation, and API integration. Don't just list tools; describe the scale of the automation projects you've led, focusing on enterprise integrations and healthcare or highly regulated industries. Weave your leadership and stakeholder management experience into your work history to show you can handle the consultative side of this role.
