Job Description & Details
This is a hands-on SME role for someone who truly understands Treasury Trading workflows and knows the Summit platform inside and out. You'll be bridging the gap between business stakeholders and tech teams in an Agile environment without much hand-holding, so expect to hit the ground running.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
You will spend your days dissecting complex business needs, writing tight user stories, and keeping the Agile delivery train moving. A big chunk of your time goes into supporting Summit enhancements, troubleshooting application issues alongside the tech team, and managing cross-functional project dependencies. You are expected to take complete ownership of your initiatives from scoping all the way to implementation, driving delivery without waiting for permission.
The Core Tech Stack
Your bread and butter here is the Summit Treasury Trading Application, coupled with a deep grasp of fixed-income and derivatives. You also need heavy fluency in Jira and standard Agile frameworks like Scrum for backlog refinement and sprint planning. Without solid prior experience in the financial services sector translating business needs into technical requirements, you'll struggle with the core demands of this position.
Interview Expectations
Expect them to grill you on your specific hands-on experience with Summit, likely asking how you handle complex trading platform upgrades or integration bugs under tight deadlines. They want to see how you push back on vague requirements from stakeholders, so be ready to walk through a real-world scenario where you had to negotiate scope and prioritize a messy Jira backlog.
Application Advice
Make sure your resume screams Summit, Treasury, and Agile/Scrum right at the top, as the ATS will immediately scan for those keywords. Don't just list tools—highlight specific instances where you acted as a Product Owner or Business Analyst to drive financial system deliverables across the finish line independently.
