Lead Talent Acquisition Partner

Not Disclosed

Job Description & Details

If you know your way around tech recruiting and want a solid 6-month contract covering a leave of absence, this Lead Talent Acquisition Partner gig is worth a look. You'll be stepping in to run full-cycle recruiting for Product, Engineering, and Global Security without getting bogged down by endless overtime or weekend shifts.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

You'll be juggling full-lifecycle recruiting across multiple requisitions, meaning you aren't just passing resumes along—you are actively sourcing, screening, negotiating offers, and closing candidates. Your day-to-day involves acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and engineering managers who might have unrealistic expectations about the current talent market. You'll need to push back with data, run structured interview debriefs, and keep a high-touch candidate experience afloat while managing competing priorities.

The Core Tech Stack

Since this is entirely focused on software, SaaS, cloud, and security hiring, you need deep fluency in sourcing niche engineering talent. You aren't just posting and praying; you must bring advanced boolean search skills, LinkedIn Recruiter mastery, and proactive pipeline building for hard-to-fill technical roles. Knowing your way around compliance frameworks like OFCCP, EEO, and pay equity is a huge plus since you'll be navigating corporate hiring structures.

Interview Expectations

Expect the hiring managers to test your stakeholder management chops by asking how you handle an engineering director who rejects every single resume you submit. They want to hear that you use market intelligence and conversion metrics to reset expectations rather than just complaining about the talent shortage. They'll also probe your technical fluency to see if you can actually talk shop with a DevOps or Security Engineer without sounding completely lost.

Application Advice

Your resume needs to scream technical recruiting depth right at the top—don't make them dig to see that you've recruited software and cloud talent. Make sure you explicitly highlight metrics around time-to-fill, complex stakeholder management, and direct sourcing wins for senior engineering or product leadership roles to easily clear their ATS.
