Salesforce Administrator

Yoh

Job Description & Details

This is a hands-on Salesforce Administrator hybrid role based out of Covington, KY, requiring local candidates who can handle both platform management and deep data crunching. If you enjoy untangling messy data relationships and keeping a Salesforce instance clean while collaborating with stakeholders, this contract gig is right up your alley.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

Expect to spend your days knee-deep in declarative Salesforce tools, setting up workflows, managing user requests, and ensuring the CRM plays nicely with the rest of the tech stack. Beyond standard admin duties, you will spend a significant chunk of your time analyzing complex datasets, defining requirements, and ensuring data quality through robust governance policies. You'll also work closely with ETL pipelines, data warehouses like Snowflake, and reporting tools like Power BI to bridge the gap between raw data and actionable business insights.

The Core Tech Stack

You need solid, practical experience administering Salesforce using declarative tools—flows, validation rules, custom objects, and sharing settings. But what really separates you from other applicants here is your data analytics chops. A strong command of SQL, relational databases, data lakes, and ETL processes is non-negotiable since you'll be dealing with large-scale data mapping and integration workflows.

Interview Expectations

Expect the interviewers to throw a complex data mapping scenario at you, asking how you would handle an ETL failure or conflicting data coming from multiple cloud platforms into Salesforce and Snowflake. They are secretly testing your architectural thinking and problem-solving framework, looking to see if you can trace a data point from its source all the way to a Power BI dashboard without losing your cool. They'll also likely test your knowledge of Salesforce declarative limits and data governance best practices to ensure you won't break production.

Application Advice

Make sure your resume heavily features the exact terminology used in this posting—specifically highlighting your hands-on Salesforce administration experience alongside concrete examples of data analysis, ETL, and data modeling. If you've built Power BI dashboards off of data lakes or managed complex data governance initiatives, put those front and center to immediately clear the recruiter's keyword screening.
