Job Description & Details
This is a hands-on, forward-thinking Salesforce engineering role where you will be building advanced agentic assistants using cutting-edge tools. If you are tired of building standard CRUD apps and want to dive deep into AI-driven workflow automation, this position puts you right on the bleeding edge of enterprise Salesforce development.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
You will spend your days designing and configuring AI agents using Agentforce and Agent Script to streamline complex user interactions. Expect to collaborate heavily with cross-functional product teams, coordinate with offshore engineering squads, and bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution. You will also be deeply involved in architecting Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions and wiring up Data Cloud objects to ensure proper reporting and system observability.
The Core Tech Stack
You need rock-solid experience with the Salesforce ecosystem, but the real ticket here is your familiarity with Agentforce, Agent Script, and Data Cloud (Data360). Because you are building custom AI assistants that interface with real user data, you must understand how to query, write, and structure data objects efficiently while keeping performance and scalability in mind.
Interview Expectations
Expect the hiring team to ask you to design a multi-step agentic workflow that handles fallback scenarios when an AI model fails to interpret a user's intent. They are secretly looking to see if you understand error handling and state management within agent scripts, rather than just knowing how to spin up a basic prompt template. You will also likely be grilled on your experience with Data Cloud architecture and how you plan to optimize RAG pipelines for low-latency responses.
Application Advice
To get past the ATS, make sure your resume explicitly features keywords like 'Agentforce', 'Agent Script', 'Data Cloud', and 'Retrieval-Augmented Generation'. Instead of just listing generic Salesforce certifications, weave a narrative around complex automation projects you have shipped, detailing how you measured success and handled integrations with custom apps.
