Job Description & Details
This is a high-visibility security architecture gig where you'll be shaping how enterprise systems handle the Wild West of AI integration. If you are tired of writing policies nobody reads and want to actually design secure, AI-native feedback loops from the ground up, this role gives you the air cover to do it right.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
You'll spend a good chunk of your time leading technical discovery workshops with IT and security SMEs to figure out just how exposed the current infrastructure is. Beyond that, you're designing end-to-end solutions that cover everything from CI/CD security hardening to AI vulnerability assessments. Expect to translate deep engineering realities into language that the CISO, CTO, and CIO actually care about without losing your technical credibility.
The Core Tech Stack
You need serious cloud chops across Azure, AWS, or GCP, specifically with security-native patterns like zero trust, least privilege, and complex IAM/NHI design. Familiarity with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK, OWASP (including Agentic Top 10), and the NIST AI RMF is non-negotiable, but you need to know how to actually apply them in architecture design rather than just reciting them on a slide deck.
Interview Expectations
They're going to test your executive presence by asking how you'd pitch a risky AI security initiative to a skeptical CTO and a conservative CISO at the same time. The interviewer is looking for your ability to balance business risk with rapid engineering delivery without throwing developers under the bus. They will also likely drill down into a real-world scenario involving CI/CD pipeline compromises and ask you to trace the blast radius.
Application Advice
Make sure your resume doesn't just list tools, but highlights your experience leading discovery workshops and driving architectural consensus across large organizations. Drop keywords like 'AI vulnerability assessment', 'zero trust', 'OWASP Agentic Top 10', and 'NIST AI RMF' directly into your work history to make sure you clear the ATS and catch the hiring manager's eye.
