This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you will actually be architecting enterprise-grade AI agents rather than just talking about them. If you enjoy wrangling multi-cloud AI services and figuring out how to make LLMs reliably execute complex workflows, this contract gives you a solid platform to do it.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
You'll spend your days designing and deploying autonomous AI agent systems using heavyweights like Azure AI Foundry and AWS Bedrock. Expect to write production-grade Python code, build out data pipelines with Pandas and SQL, and constantly debug why an agent decided to hallucinate a weird orchestration path. You will also lead sprint planning, mentor junior devs, and translate vague business requirements into concrete automation workflows.
The Core Tech Stack
You absolutely need deep, hands-on experience with Azure AI Foundry and AWS Bedrock because these platforms form the backbone of their entire AI infrastructure. Python, SQL, and Pandas are non-negotiable for crunching data and orchestrating LLMs. If you haven't built real-world AI agent workflows or dealt with cloud-native application deployment on Azure or AWS, you'll struggle with the architectural decisions required here.
Interview Expectations
Expect the hiring team to hand you a system design problem where you have to map out a multi-agent orchestration framework that handles failure states and latency gracefully, as they want to see how you prevent cascading loops in LLMs. They will also likely drill down into your Python concurrency and data-wrangling skills using Pandas to ensure you can optimize performance when processing heavy enterprise payloads at scale.
