Full Stack Engineer II – AI / AWS / Agentic Systems

Not Disclosed

Job Description & Details

This is a hands-on Full Stack Engineer role focused heavily on building AI-enabled web apps and agentic workflows on AWS. If you are tired of building standard CRUD apps and want to spend your days wiring up Model Context Protocol servers and orchestrating multi-agent systems, this is a solid gig.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

You will spend your days building the foundational web applications and backend infrastructure that power internal AI enablement and developer productivity tools. Expect to architect agentic workflows, hook AI agents into tools like Jira, Confluence, and GitHub via MCP servers, and ensure everything runs smoothly with production-grade monitoring and telemetry.

The Core Tech Stack

You need deep, hands-on experience with AWS, specifically AWS Bedrock and AgentCore, combined with robust full-stack capabilities in TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Python. The team relies heavily on your ability to not just write code, but to build cloud-native applications that can safely handle agentic interactions, enterprise APIs, and cost governance in production.

Interview Expectations

You will likely be asked how you handle state management, infinite loops, and cost blowups when building multi-agent workflows. The hiring manager is secretly testing whether you understand the failure modes of LLMs in production or if you've only played with toy examples in local notebooks. Another heavy focus will be on your system design approach for integrating MCP servers securely with enterprise tools like GitHub and Jira without exposing internal credentials.

Application Advice

Make sure your resume doesn't just list React and Node.js; highlight any actual production deployments involving AWS Bedrock, LangGraph, CrewAI, or custom MCP servers. Mirror the exact terminology from the job description regarding agentic workflows, SDLC automation, and telemetry to clear the ATS filters, and explicitly state your comfort level with a hybrid 3-day onsite schedule.
