Senior AI Software Developer

Job Description & Details

This is a heavy-hitting senior role bridging traditional enterprise integration with modern AI and cloud architectures. If you enjoy untangling complex SAP data flows while stitching together Go microservices, LLM capabilities, and Azure infrastructure, this is an interesting challenge.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

You'll spend your days architecting and building cloud-native applications that talk to SAP S/4HANA on one side and leverage LLMs and AI agents on the other. Expect to design robust microservices in Go and Python, handle event-driven messaging via Azure Service Bus, and make sure that PostgreSQL databases stay performant under high concurrency. You won't just be writing greenfield code; you'll be heavily involved in integrating legacy ERP systems with cutting-edge AI features like RAG and tool calling, requiring a solid grip on security, data privacy, and caching strategies.

The Core Tech Stack

Go and Python are non-negotiable here, serving as the backbone for your backend services and AI integrations. You need deep, production-level fluency in Microsoft Azure—specifically APIM, Azure Service Bus, and Key Vault—alongside hands-on experience integrating SAP via OData, BAPIs, and IDocs. Pair that with PostgreSQL, Redis for distributed caching, and a strong foundational understanding of event-driven architectures, and you'll survive the technical demands of this position.

Interview Expectations

Expect them to grill you on how you handle distributed transactions and eventual consistency when syncing data between an external microservice, PostgreSQL, and SAP S/4HANA. The interviewer will likely ask you to whiteboard a scenario where an AI agent needs to securely query enterprise data via an API without leaking PII or bypassing access controls, looking closely at how you balance system resiliency with strict security boundaries.

Application Advice

Don't just list Go and Python on your resume and call it a day. Make sure you explicitly highlight projects where you bridged legacy enterprise systems like SAP with modern cloud tools or AI services. Use keywords from the job description such as 'Azure Service Bus', 'Redis cache-aside', 'RAG', and 'event-driven architecture' so your profile gets flagged correctly by the ATS, but ground those keywords in real-world examples of scalability and performance tuning.
