Job Description & Details
This is a heavy-hitting 12+ month contract for an AI Product Manager sitting onsite in Redmond to drive enterprise-grade GenAI and agentic workflows. You will be the bridge between chaotic business demands and high-performing engineering teams, owning everything from model evaluation metrics to Azure-backed architectures. If you know how to wrangle LLMs, handle Responsible AI compliance, and ship production-ready Copilots without drowning in stakeholder alignment, this gig gives you massive ownership over critical roadmap decisions.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
Your day-to-day will revolve around translating ambiguous enterprise problems into razor-sharp PRDs and ADO backlogs that engineering teams can actually execute. You'll spend plenty of time collaborating with AI architects to define model requirements, fighting latency issues, setting up RAG pipelines, and monitoring for hallucinations or model drift. Expect to constantly juggle cross-functional syncs with data science, UX, and executive stakeholders to ensure the AI capabilities you're shipping are scalable, secure, and genuinely move the needle on business metrics.
The Core Tech Stack
You need a deep, working grasp of Generative AI, Large Language Models, RAG, vector databases, and Agentic AI architectures. Familiarity with the Azure ecosystem—specifically Azure AI Foundry and Microsoft Copilots—is non-negotiable for this role given the Redmond footprint, alongside a strong foundation in MLOps concepts and enterprise AI governance frameworks like bias mitigation and data privacy.
Interview Expectations
The hiring managers are going to probe deeply into how you handle edge cases in production AI, so be ready to walk them through a specific time you managed model drift, hallucinations, or strict Responsible AI constraints under tight deadlines. They are secretly looking for your ability to say 'no' to over-hyped feature requests and your tactical approach to balancing technical feasibility with measurable business KPIs using real-world telemetry.
Application Advice
To get past the ATS, your resume needs to heavily feature terms like PRD creation, ADO, LLMs, RAG, vector databases, and AI governance, rather than just high-level product buzzwords. Explicitly highlight your hands-on experience shipping enterprise-scale AI products, building Copilots, and managing cross-functional delivery cycles to prove you can hit the ground running from day one.
