Job Description & Details
This is a heavy-hitting architecture gig where you will be designing advanced agentic AI systems on AWS for enterprise clients. If you enjoy wrestling with the boundary between deterministic code and probabilistic LLM reasoning, this 12-month contract gives you a direct platform to build scalable, production-grade AI engines.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
You will own the end-to-end solution architecture on AWS, focusing heavily on grounding agentic patterns and ontologies. Your day-to-day involves acting as the ultimate design authority, making hard calls on non-functional requirements, and standing in front of customer security boards to defend your access models and architectural blueprints.
The Core Tech Stack
You need deep, battle-tested expertise in AWS architecture, particularly around serverless, vector databases, and enterprise security models. Beyond the cloud infrastructure, the absolute make-or-break skill here is designing LLM orchestration layers that cleanly separate deterministic rule logic from heuristic AI reasoning without introducing chaotic failure modes.
Interview Expectations
Expect the customer architecture board to grill you on how you handle state management and error recovery in multi-agent workflows. The hiring manager is secretly testing whether you can defend a complex trade-off between strict security compliance and the open-ended nature of generative AI without leaning on buzzwords.
Application Advice
Skip the generic cloud certificates summary and focus your resume squarely on large-scale AWS deployments and AI/LLM integration patterns. Make sure keywords like ontology, agentic pattern, deterministic rule logic, and non-functional requirements are explicitly called out in your experience section to clear the ATS.
