HRIS Systems Analyst III

Job Description & Details

This is a heavy-duty enterprise HRIS role where you will be knee-deep in Oracle Cloud HCM configurations, supporting critical modules like Core HR, Compensation, and Absence Management. If you hate monotonous ticket-clearing and want to own complex system workflows, integrations, and reporting frameworks, this Irvine-based gig offers a solid platform to flex your technical muscles.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

You will spend your days managing the end-to-end lifecycle of Oracle Cloud HCM configurations, troubleshooting tricky data issues, and building out automated solutions using Fast Formulas and HCM Extracts. Expect to collaborate heavily with cross-functional HR teams to translate their operational needs into technical system requirements, while occasionally jumping into on-call rotations for critical production support.

The Core Tech Stack

You need deep, battle-tested experience with Oracle Cloud HCM, specifically across Core HR and multiple modules like Benefits, Compensation, and Succession Planning. Mastery of reporting tools like OTBI, BI Publisher, and SQL is non-negotiable since you'll constantly be pulling data audits and writing complex validation scripts. Familiarity with Page Composer, Sandboxes, and security profiles will round out your daily toolkit.

Interview Expectations

Expect the hiring panel to test your real-world troubleshooting capabilities, likely asking you to walk through a scenario where an automated HCM Extract or Fast Formula failed during a payroll or benefits cycle and how you diagnosed it. They are secretly looking for methodical problem-solvers who don't just patch symptoms, but understand the underlying data relationships and security impacts within Oracle Cloud.

Application Advice

Your resume needs to heavily feature the exact Oracle Cloud HCM modules you've supported, so ditch the high-level summaries and explicitly list Core HR, Compensation, Benefits, and OTBI reporting. Make sure to highlight your proficiency with SQL and Fast Formulas near the top, as the ATS and the technical recruiters will be scanning specifically for those keywords to gauge your hands-on configuration depth.
