.Net Full Stack Sr Developers

Burgeon IT Services LLC.

Job Description & Details

This is a heavy-duty, senior-level contract role for someone who truly knows their way around enterprise .NET and Angular architectures. You will be building and scaling mission-critical systems where performance, domain-driven design, and rock-solid event-driven patterns aren't just nice-to-haves, they are absolute requirements. If you enjoy solving deep database bottlenecks and architecting resilient microservices, this gig will keep you on your toes.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

Your day-to-day will involve designing complex backend services using ASP.NET Core while tightly coupling them with high-performance Angular frontends that talk in real-time via WebSockets and SignalR. You'll spend a good chunk of your time untangling legacy mental models with domain experts, writing clean Domain-Driven Design code, and making sure your SQL Server instances don't choke under massive data volumes. Expect to write robust message-driven workflows using Kafka or RabbitMQ, ensuring that everything from transactional outboxes to dead-letter queues are handled with production-grade care.

The Core Tech Stack

To survive here, you need deep, battle-tested expertise in ASP.NET Core Web API, Entity Framework Core with advanced features like temporal tables, and a mastery of Angular paired with NgRx and RxJS. On the data and messaging side, you're expected to be completely fluent in SQL Server performance tuning, normalization, indexing, and high-throughput messaging brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ. If terms like CQRS, MediatR, saga patterns, and circuit breakers aren't second nature to you, you're going to struggle with the architectural complexity of this environment.

Interview Expectations

When you sit down for the in-person interview in New York, expect the grilling to be technical and architectural rather than high-level behavioral. They will likely ask you to explain how you implement the transactional outbox pattern with Kafka and Entity Framework Core, digging deep into how you prevent duplicate message processing during a network partition. They'll also test your SQL Server optimization chops by asking how you diagnose a sudden spike in page life expectancy drops using execution plans and wait statistics, so be ready to whiteboard concrete remediation strategies.

Application Advice

Make sure your resume doesn't just list technologies, but explicitly highlights the scale and architecture of the systems you've built. If you've worked on heavy event-driven architectures, distributed messaging with Kafka, or complex Angular state management implementations, bring those front and center. Ensure keywords like Domain-Driven Design, CQRS, NgRx, and SQL Server partitioning are woven naturally into your experience bullets so you easily clear the ATS filters before stepping into the room.
