Job Description & Details
This is a solid, hands-on Full Stack role for someone who knows their way around modern Single Page Applications and doesn't mind rolling up their sleeves in Dallas. You'll be building out enterprise-grade portals using Angular on the front and Node.js on the back, keeping things snappy and data-driven with SQL Server. If you like clear-cut feature delivery without getting dragged into endless architecture debates, this gig is worth a serious look.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
Expect to spend your days knee-deep in component architecture, writing clean TypeScript for Angular SPAs, and wiring up robust backend services in Node.js. You'll be translating visual designs and wireframes into responsive, production-ready UI while making sure your database queries aren't slowing down the portal. A lot of your time will go into API integration, debugging data flow issues, and making sure the user experience feels seamless across different states.
The Core Tech Stack
Angular and Node.js are your bread and butter here, so you need to be deeply comfortable with both ecosystems, from reactive forms and state management on the client to asynchronous event loops and middleware on the server. JavaScript mastery is a given, alongside solid HTML5 and CSS3 fundamentals for crafting pixel-accurate layouts. You'll also need a decent grip on SQL Server to handle data persistence, along with AJAX, JSON, and jQuery for handling legacy or third-party integrations.
Interview Expectations
Expect the hiring team to grill you on how you handle state management and performance optimization in large Angular applications, so be ready to talk through a time you debugged memory leaks or slow change-detection cycles. They will also likely ask you how you architect your Node.js backend to handle concurrent requests safely without blocking the event loop, and what your strategy is for writing secure, maintainable REST APIs that talk cleanly to SQL Server.
Application Advice
Skip the generic resume summary and put your years of Angular and Node.js experience right at the top where the recruiter can see it immediately. Make sure your project descriptions explicitly mention terms like Single Page Application (SPA), portal development, SQL Server, and responsive web design so you easily clear their initial ATS keyword filters.
