Field Marketing Manager

Job Description & Details

This role isn't for someone who wants to hide behind a desk and optimize digital ads all day. You'll be the face of five different dental centers across New Jersey and the Philadelphia region, driving real-world foot traffic and patient consults through relentless community outreach and dentist networking.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

Expect to spend a massive chunk of your time out in the field rather than staring at a screen. Your day-to-day involves running a hub-and-spoke referral pipeline with local general dentists, setting up educational sessions for 55+ communities, and showing up at local health fairs or Rotary club meetings to shake hands and build brand trust. You are essentially acting as an entrepreneurial local operator, responsible for turning grassroots community engagement into hard conversion metrics like patient consults and treatment starts.

The Core Tech Stack

While you won't be writing code, you will rely heavily on robust CRM tools, local tracking spreadsheets, and reporting dashboards to log every event, outreach effort, and partnership. The absolute critical skill here is relationship-driven sales acumen wrapped in a marketing mindset. You need to know how to track conversion metrics, analyze local market trends, and relentlessly optimize your outreach playbook based on what is actually getting people through the doors of the Roseland, Paramus, Woodbridge, Fort Washington, and Mount Laurel centers.

Interview Expectations

Be prepared for the hiring manager to ask you to walk through a time you had to build a local referral pipeline completely from scratch in a new territory. They want to see your hustle and aren't looking for textbook theory; they want a step-by-step breakdown of how you identify key community partners, pitch them, and track the resulting ROI. Another likely hurdle will be a situational question about handling low-performing locations or lagging consult show rates, where they are secretly testing your analytical grit and creative problem-solving skills under pressure.

Application Advice

Skip the generic corporate fluff on your resume and highlight numbers immediately. If you have successfully grown a B2C or healthcare referral network in the past, put the exact revenue or volume growth right at the top. Make sure to weave in keywords like 'hub-and-spoke partnership model', 'referral pipeline', 'multi-site territory management', and 'KPI tracking' so you easily clear the ATS filters before a human ever looks at your hustle.
