Integration Engineer

Object Technology Solutions, Inc (OTSI)

Job Description & Details

This is a heavy-duty telecom engineering gig focused on driving end-to-end RAN integration, 4G/5G deployment, and automation initiatives for enterprise clients using Ericsson and Nokia gear. You won't just be pushing buttons; you'll be acting as a technical bridge between regional teams, R&D, and the customer to make sure complex network builds actually work at scale.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

Expect to spend your days knee-deep in E2E network design, scripting, and integration for massive telecom builds. You'll lead Agile sprints, troubleshoot gnarly configuration issues, present Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) to demanding enterprise clients, and own internal automation tools like NMT and SRS. A lot of your time will go toward cutting down Level of Effort (LoE) through custom scripting, running HW/feature trials, and making sure script readiness is locked down before GA rollouts.

The Core Tech Stack

You'll need deep, battle-tested expertise in Ericsson and Nokia RAN and ENM products, alongside a strong grasp of RFDS, RNDCIQ, and RAN design parameters. Since this role heavily prioritizes automation and data analytics, solid coding skills in Python or Java are non-negotiable, plus the ability to slice and dice network data using PowerBI or Tableau to prove out your efficiency gains.

Interview Expectations

Expect the hiring managers to test your mettle on complex troubleshooting scenarios; they'll likely ask you to walk through a hypothetical post-integration failure in a 5G Cloud RAN environment and explain how you'd isolate whether it's an Ericsson vendor issue or a configuration script error. They want to see how you handle pressure and structure your RCA process. You should also be ready to whiteboard an automation strategy for reducing manual integration steps, where they'll be secretly looking for your ability to balance cost savings with operational accuracy.

Application Advice

Your resume needs to scream telecom engineering leadership, not just general IT support. Make sure to explicitly feature keywords like 'RAN Integration', 'Ericsson/Nokia', 'ENM', 'Cloud RAN', and 'Python' right at the top of your experience bullets. Don't just list the projects you worked on; highlight the scale of the networks you've built and any automation tools you've personally developed that measurably reduced deployment time or effort.
